Welcome you to finnstudy.com, a website provides information for international students coming to Finland for higher education opportunities. Funded and encouraged by the Lahden seurakuntayhtymä - Lutheran Chruch in Lahti, part of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Finland, the project aims at equipping the potential, current and future students with practical and life-oriented experiences.

Prospectively, foreign students are very unfimilar with Finland, its cultures, its people and the ways of life here, and also Finnish language is something oddinary to their own languages. For many occassions, they would run to dig up many websites and articles in search engines with the hope to pack something for their owns. It takes time and efforts, and unluckily, the information is quite diverse with different angles. In this website, hopefully we could help you with useful information in compact category, that we think you concern the most:

Tuition fees to introduced
A five-year experimental programme in which foreign students from outside the European Union and the European Economic Area will be charged tuition fees to attend Finnish universities is set to begin in 2010.
Proposed changes to university legislation are to include provisions that would allow individual educational programmes to levy fees on students from outside the EU and EEA.
